Well this makes 4 47-53 stovebolts I I have now and the 2cd 1 ton. Am I a pig? I don’t think I qualify for full blown hoarder status I’m sure some a y’all got more junk than me. Anyways it’s a 53 gmc, not running, rust in the usual places but not bad. I have a fresh 235 I’m putting together and a 4.57 ho52 pumpkin I’ll put in it, new wire harness, also needs king pins. I’m going to transfer the entire good brake system from my other 1 ton chassis to it. I’ll probably patch some rust holes but don’t want to paint it even though the patina has progressed a little farther than I care for. The basic plan is to make it roadworthy/safe and drive it until I get one of my other rigs going and then I’ll sell it and the next owner can do cosmetics...............or not.
