I am ordering a set of adjustable main jets but I am also looking for suggestions as to what power valve closing vacuum I should use. I think original was 6.5 or 7 in single carb apps but Holley power valves are available down to 3. Any suggestions where to start? I am thinking 4.5 because that is half of seven and I am using 2 carbs. This is for a 235 with solid lifters and stock truck cam (I think). I am going to add a hotter cam later. The carbs are operated with each carb feeding 3 cylinders. The intake is water heated.
