| | | | Joined: Aug 2001 Posts: 154 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2001 Posts: 154 | I used a 99 350 Vortec EFI/TH400 in my '51, I wish I had gone with the 700R4, for a daily driver it needs the overdrive. It has a 3:42 rear and the rpm's would be lower. But it does move. Zeke
