Hy Cozsum, welcome, I am not sure if the flywheel underpan is the same as the standard transmission underpan or not. The linkage that is not attached to anything is most likely the throttle valve linkage which goes down to the transmission, this linkage causes the transmission to shift at different times based on the throttle position, you should see if the guy you purchased the setup from has at least the rest of the linkage to the carburetor, or the whole manifold carburetor and linkage. I had that setup in a 57 one ton pickup, I loved that transmission. That transmission was also used in all the GM cars except the Buick and many other manufacturers used it, including Rolls Royce. The brake pedal is the same as the other trucks of that vintage, good luck with your project.
