There's an interesting 66 Chevy Pickup on eBay advertised as a C10. It also has the rectangular 10 fender emblems in the correct placement for a 66. It's wearing deep hubcaps so I can't count the wheel studs. Everything about it, including the deep hubcaps, points to a 3/4-ton. The VIN given is C2536J123456. This is how I see it breaking down:
C = Chevy, 2WD
25 = 3/4-ton, 127 wheelbase
3 = ?
6 = 1966
J = Janesville
I ran it thru the VIN buster on this site and that said it was a Suburban. The truck is definitely not a Suburban... Maybe it's just a typo.
Is 3 in the fourth place correct for a 'burb?
