| | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,272 Renaissance Man | | Renaissance Man Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,272 | I don't think that the spring inside of the grease cup will fix this particular issue (although it certainly fixes a wobbling distributor shaft).
Take a look at the bizarre clamp on the distributor which allows the distributor body to rotate when the vacuum advance kicks in. Either something is excessively worn or there is a screw loose.
If that isn't the problem, take a look at the bottom tube of the distributor where it contacts inside of the hole in the block for excessive wear/scoring.
