My 292, yes a little bigger yet, had a lot of problems with the Rochester B single until the jetting was checked and corrected, it was getting to lean at speed with the heavy truck and was quite gutless, backfiring if it was pushed too hard - hard hit on the gas, or trying to pump a little. Now that it is matched it runs wonderfully.
