Joe S. Wrench Fetcher J Joined: Nov 2018 Posts: 44 patterson ny	My 1949, 3100, 1/2 ton with 6 wheel studs is leaking oil at the rear brake attachments. Looking at the service manual, it appears that you have to remove the whole rear differential/axle/driveshaft assembly from the truck to install new seals. Is this what you have found? I am asking because if there is an easier way, I'd like to know! Best regards, Joe '49 3100 "Sweet Caroline" because the truck has fabulous curves .... like Caroline!
