DB and tm-Welcome to The Bolt. Probably the best match for the Task Force style of truck (55-59) is the mid-late seventies Camaro/Firebird subframe. This is NOT a job for a beginner, as it requires a fair bit of engineering. If you have welding and fabrication skills, you can pull it off by yourself. However, most folks seek professional help with this conversion and most frequently the professional will recommend using a Mustang II based crossmember kit. This may actually be a better choice as it doesn't involve cutting your chassis. Run a search here in the HiPo Shop on past posts, and run a general web search with your server-try "Mustang II front suspension" and "Camaro front suspension." This should net you some good "real world" examples of what it takes to do this swap, and you will generally get a more personal opinion of the work involved than you would in a magazine.
