I had a fan like that throw one blade on a road trip once. Then it was terribly out of balance with three. Good thing I had a hacksaw under the seat to turn it into a two bladed fan and get back on the road.
It didn’t cool well enough for the summer heat in California and later that day we found another old 4 blade fan to install.
