I had bought https://www.classicparts.com/1949-53-Fuel-Tank-Petcock/productinfo/23%2D453/ but it doesn't appear the long end of the nipple will thread into the bottom of my tank? From what I can tell from the different sites, it should...I wonder if I need an intermediate fitting? | | |
