| | | | Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 1 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 1 | I have a 1955 Chevrolet pickup i am restoring and i have a question that is probably simple to answer. In my truck i have put a 350 and a 700R4 overdrive automatic combo and right now i dont have the right type of shifter in it. I have bought a B&M Console Megashifter with the cable to go to the transmission. One problem, when i tried to shift it, all the cable would do was torque and would not shift. do i need a different hook up to my transmission or what?
