I forgot where I was. I will probably hear an ear full now from some 216 lovers. They are an interesting historic peek into automotive history. How's that? Best suited for tinker types, mechanically inclined with lots of machine tools, time and money. That OK?
I my self would be interested in a reliable motor that I can get off-the-shelf parts for. I've poured so many rabbit or bobbit or babbitt bearings.... I can't even tell you. Won't do it anymore. Like grampa would say, "Don't go straight, go V8". "Slap a SBC or a BBC in there boys".
I appreciate you thougts. Not really part of my original question, but still nice information.
