Not sure what your existing pattern is, 4.75 x 7.25 doesn't make sense, usually the first number is the number of lugs, the second is the diameter, i.e. 10 on 7.25" for example.
I made some steel adapters to put original IHC 5 on 8 wheels on a D 70. 1" or so steel, drill and tap 8 on 6.5" for Allen bolts from inside of axle, bore ID of adapter to fit Dana hub, drill and tap 5 on 8" for stud centered IHC wheel. Been working fine for 10 years or so.
