Yes, someone put dual exhausts on the six banger. Why, I don't know. I don't smell any gas or see any fuel leaks. One thing I think I might have done wrong when setting the timing was not unplugging the vacuum advance from the distributor. I'm going to go back tonight and reset the timing with the vacuum advance disconnected and plugged. I'm also going to check for any vacuum leaks. If that doesn't make any improvement, I'll try adjusting the valves. I'll keep you all posted. The temp gauge reads right around 185 after driving it a while.
