Question: are the 1/2 ton through 1 ton advance design bellhousing crossmembers (or rear engine mount crossmembers, however you want to term them), the same dimensions?
So, I have limited experience with the lighter duty trucks. I've just had 3800 and 6400 trucks, and I was wondering if the lighter trucks' crossmembers were the same as the 3800.
Reason being, I've got a 3800 frame that I would like to put a '54 or '55.1 crossmember in that has the angled mounts, so I can use the later inline 6/v8 bellhousing.
I just need to know if I need to get one from a 3800 frame or if a 1/2 or 3/4 ton crossmember will work.
