On my '63 GMC 4000, I pulled the sides and end gate to my grain bed and left the front panel on the truck to protect the back of the cab. Trimmed 2x4's down to fit the stake pockets and bolted 2x12's 16ft long to the 2x4's. I then bolted 2x2 angle iron to the tops of the 2x12's to protect the top of the sideboards. I don't plan on using the grain bed, just decided to save them in case I sell the truck. JP
