Have you tried this (the blocks) yet? I've been thinking about doing the same thing, would like more clearance on my '56 6400 when up in the woods getting firewood. In addition, I have 22.5" rims and there isn't a ton of extra clearance at the front fenders.
Besides that, the bigger these trucks look the better, haha
