With all respect to Jay Zed, the advise you got was not from the “purists” in our group. Only one of the responders was a period correct guy. All the rest are/were Hotrod guys. The truck is only worth about 1/4 of the asking price at best no matter how many miles Gateway says the owner drove it. Gateway’s reputation is well documented. Proceed with caution, we don’t want to come back at you with a big “I told you so”, in 6 months when your budget is blown.
