Due to the rain, we did not get HQ setup Friday afternoon, but was able to mark our spot, that is the same as the last 5+ Years.
We have the T-shirts in our possession and will be sorting and giving them out today.
Friday night at the Alderson's was a great time and we had probably the biggest turnout ever.
It was probably because it was a Friday evening instead of on Thursday.
We had several first timers there and of course Wayne gave a tour of their collection after a great meal.
Vicki's cookies were a big hit, over three dozen were devoured.
As an added highlight for the Aldersons, Bill Aldersons high school track coach showed up (83 years young) and talked to Patty and Wayne a lot about Bill and his brothers.
And as an added surprize, there were a couple young Alderson girls that intern in the assisted living facility that the Coach lives in, that also knew him.
I got a lot of pictures and it will be next week before I can load them up somewhere. Forgot the camera cable at home.
Had a couple cold ones with Rusty Rod, back at the hotel and got back to the room about 11 pm.
We would like to hear other thoughts of the Alderson open house.
