Justhorsenround- I am helping someone move their truck, so I don't have the wheelbase dimension off hand, but I know it has a 13' bed on it.

Soggy- That SWAG (scientific wild [censored]ed guess) method is what I use frequently as well, and doesn't get me in trouble too often. I figured I would add about 1,000 lbs. or so for the bed to cover bases.

3B- Thanks for the information. That does help.

Lightholder's Dad- That's about what I was thinking it might weigh. I seem to recall from previous posts here that the later Task Force 6400 series with tilt beds came in at about 8500+/- pounds. I know that is comparing apples and oranges, but I was hoping the '49 didn't exceed that for trailer capability purposes.
