Hi Folks, Mark from central Michigan here. Currently buying/building a 47 GMC. It's been in the works for almost a year. Much of that time was spent finding the right truck. A buddy has it now and is doing some work on it before I get it in two weeks. (glass, wiring etc.) I'll be putting a small block chevy and a 5 speed manual in it. This isn't my first Stovebolt, but it's my first AD truck. I'll be needing all sorts of advice from fitting and mounting the motor in place to adding in a master cylinder for a hydraulic clutch. I'll start those threads in the appropriate places when the time comes. I'll also post pics when able. In the mean time I just wanted to say hi.
