| | | | Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 6,377 Ex Hall Monitor | | Ex Hall Monitor Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 6,377 | Sometimes if it sits for more than two or three days the float bowl is empty and I have to crank the starter for a while to get gas back to the carburetor. Sometimes it can sit for a week or more and start right up. I replaced the fuel pump which helped but didn't completely fix the issue. What do I need to look at? It's on a 53 235 with Powerglide. To the best of my knowledge it's the original carburetor.
