| | | | Joined: Nov 2016 Posts: 10 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2016 Posts: 10 | I work on new cars, so this modern gear oil was free and available when I drained and refilled the old '65's granny four speed. Should I change it to old school 90w gear oil? Something about the synchros not working correctly? It does grind sometimes in 4th if you get a little impatient with shifting, but I thought it was just the regular high mileage wear and tear.
