dgrinnan 'Bolter D Joined: Jan 2016 Posts: 1,101 Northern Kentucky	I didn't worry about the fender bolts going through the welting when I installed it on my fenders. I just relied on the pinch pressure of the fenders to hold the welting in place. I have not had any issues. It has been in place for about 2 years. Dave from Northern Kentucky My 54 3100
