The Stovebolt Site Forums The Parking Lot Big Bolts Clutch info needed

I replace the clutch in my '57, 283c.i., sm420, two ton truck. Could not find a listing for it. I wanted to stay with the Borg & Beck style, found the correct diameter (11") and 10 spline the same as a Belaire, everything went together without a problem. the only difference was one less spring on the friction plate but I don't know for sure if the clutch I took out was the original to the truck.
