Just an add on to this lighter thread. I've seen negative comment posted in the past referring to the
lighters as just decoration or obsolete objects now that most sane people of average intelligence
don't smoke anymore.
But......they are handy obviously for powering up those modern devices like phone chargers and GPS.
I've kept 'Old Blue', my '50 stock right down to the original 6v system and found that many of those
can be powered up from a 6v power source. I'm presently using a TomTom GPS in Old Blue with
the original 12v car charger that it came with and it works just fine.
