The soda numbers stay the same 1-2 oz per gallon so for 55 gallons would need 6.9 lb of Soda I used pH Plus from wal-mart in the pool section $5.00 for about 5 pounds.
It seems to work on the bumper brackets. I used an 18 gallon large plastic container, Next time I will rig up a 5 gallon bucket, I think the "less travel" space between the pos and neg ions may have something to do with the effectiveness of the process.
