Pretty straight forward! I have to say though that is a lot of work to get the transmission out. Ive pulled mine a few times over the years to do clutches and what not,and found it quite easy to disconnect torque tube and tie it up out of the way then take trans out. But each to their own process. I'm a big promoter of finding the quickest and easiest way do do things, that often comes with trial and error,but in the end I come up with a process that works very well. I say all that because I read a lot on here of the way guys process how to do a job and it's made difficult in that its way to over thought. I would hazard a guess and say that if one looked at a shop manual on removing the transmission, pulling the clip is not part of the procedure. I've never looked and if I'm wrong ...no problem. I'll have learned otherwise!
