My winter project for my '57 stepside is repainting the frame. It was last painted about 15 years ago, primered and then gloss black on bare surfaces, and it's ready for a new coat.
Since I intend to do the job with everything other than wheels installed, prep will be light sanding, degrease and prep cleaner on exposed surfaces. According to the POR-15 people, that rules them out and I'm seeking advice on what paint to use. I've seen Rust Bullet BlackShell protective coating advertised and was wondering if anyone has any comments on that product or other recommendations.
