I'd say that engine RPM isn't what will limit top speed as the road feel at higher speeds. I've got a T5 & 3.73 gears now but when it was a 3.90 / no OD rig I drove across the USA & back at 65 MPH in my "60 but it ride is day & night from the Task Force models.
