| | | | Joined: Aug 2012 Posts: 1,214 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Aug 2012 Posts: 1,214 | My old Wheel Horse with an HST (hydrostat trans) calls for Type A. I've been using Valvolene Dexron III/Mercon for 100's of hr's with no problems.
Whatever you're using it in in, it's good to do as total a flush as possible before adding the new fluid.
