| | THANKS!
For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2007 Posts: 40 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2007 Posts: 40 | I have a 1955 1st 235 and I tried to put an insulator under the carburetor. After the install I started the engine and heard a sound like something was loose in the manifold. I shut the engine down and I feel that during the install of the insulator something fell into the intake. At idle no sound but when adding throttle sounds like it is hitting something. I removed the carb again but there is no way to check inside the manifold. This means the removal of the intake. It sounds like the item is still in the manifold and hopefully has gone into the engine. Any help ? | | |
