Once again, Eric is the voice of experience and I would take his advice. Might not hurt to go out to the junkyard and pick up an old fender to practice on so you don't do any further damage to yours. This is a difficult skill to learn and many of the body men out there today live in a bolt on world and aren't capable of this kind of work.
