I have my truck down to just the frame and I am planning to sandblast soon, I am also planning on overhauling/rebuilding the front end suspension. I am wondering if I should dissemble the suspension system before sandblasting so I can more thoroughly remove rust and debris from the individual parts, or if I should leave it all intact.
The front end is sagging some, and I assume this is due to fatigue on the torsion bars, so where would I get replacements? Also is there any site that sells thorough rebuild kits for the front suspension? I know that Ecklers has some steering kits and suspension parts, however I'm hesitant to buy from them since in the past they have marketed an item as fitting a '62 C10, but it was totally wrong.
