And he got you doing 64 in a 55 zone and let you off with just a verbal .... Besides ... the thread looked suspect to me, too. Soliciting for parts doesn't require an exchange of money to be a Swap Meet candidate, and threads in the *Electrical* forum should pretty much be about *electrical* stuff. The rules are that way from painful experience gained from being too lax with this stuff and having to burn down a forum that had gotten out of control.
I know some of you guys have a lot of experience that transcends our simple little categories and it bleeds over. In the interests of letting the others gain from all that, we do kinda look the other way here and there when some of the grey beards blur the boundaries. But I would certainly appreciate it, and so would our volunteer moderators, if some of you would refrain a little from seeing how close and how often you can dance to the line.
