For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2018 Posts: 189 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2018 Posts: 189 | Got the brake switch problem figured out, and now I have a spare switch. Turns out all I needed to do was the "toe board adjustment", which amounts to simply adjusting the master cylinder pushrod, until their is 13/16 inch clearance between the firewall, and the end of the brake arm. On the plus side I have great pedal travel clearance too. Brake pedal is a long way from the floor under hard braking. http://oi68.tinypic.com/1zywz83.jpg
