Thanks for the help. Here is what I have learned. I am still not certain what fuse the power is linked to but it does pass through the neutral safety switch. The power into the switch wire is dark green - power to the rear lamps is light green.. The power does indeed go through the firewall just above and slightly to the right of the gas pedal - and just below where the tail and directional lights pass through. For me, I removed the neutral safety switch and found it to be broken - so a new one is coming. Finally, I'll take a look at the 1967 wiring diagram and see if that is helpful. I did think of the "good ground" issue and have run additional ground wires from the back up lamp housings to the frame to assure a good contact. As soon as I get the new switch, and some housing gaskets I think I'll have this whipped...
