For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2007 Posts: 37 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: May 2007 Posts: 37 | Has any of you done rust repair in your drip rails. I sand blasted the drip rails and have pin holes on the roof, the pin holes I can drill out and make plugs for but the problem that I am encountering is trying to cut out the flange on the roof that sits inside the drip rail without cutting into the driprail itself, it's this flange from the roof that is badly blistered and the drip rail is in good shape. If these pin holes turn out to be bigger I'll make a bigger patch, I still only want to cut out the flange of the roof and not cut the drip rail, is there a tool out there that will cut in such a small area.
