I have a few questions about weatherstripping on my '49. The truck was a total basket case when I got it so I'm not sure how some of it is supposed to go together. Anyway, on the outside of the door glass, there's supposed to be a rubber "wiper" that fits in a groove inside the door. I see the groove, but what keeps the strip of rubber in place?
Along the bottom edge of the interior of the door there is a metal strip attached with screws that looks like it would secure some weatherstrip. What goes here?
Last, how does the wide strip of rubber between the bottom of the cab and running board attach to the truck?
