Kennethw Shop Shark K Joined: Nov 2007 Posts: 190 Ellis County Texas	6 volt 35 amp, short body 2 brush Delco. Used in 1952 and still wide belt. 2G 8 would have been the date code of the generator. 2=1952, G=July, 8=the day. July 8th 1952 was generator build date. Ken
