I would check a couple things, Order doesn’t matter. How is the brake peddle return spring? Check linkage for binding and correct setting (peddle to master cylinder linkage might be too tight) Double check brackets that hold your disk brake caliper. (Mine was not true and I had similar issues with cpp conversion kit.) consider rebleeding your system. You should have portioning valve if you are running disk (front) and drum (back) set up.
Just a few thoughts after having a similar issue.
