I made it home safe and sound a little after 4:00 pm Monday. It was a beautiful ride home via Highway 33 in VA and W VA. I over nighted in Chillicothe, OH and then primarily rode the interstate highways the rest of the way home. My door-to-door mileage was 2,164.4 and the Beemer ran like a clock. The last 40 miles west on I80 were in 30 mph north winds with gusts over 40 mph, talk about excitement! It sure felt good to sleep in my own bed!!
