I've caught dozens of mice with bucket traps. I keep one in the shed to keep them out of the tractors and other garden machines. One in the garage and one in the attic. If they are placed in an area that gets cold in the winter I put a little antifreeze in to keep the water from freezing.If you are not familiar with these google "bucket mouse traps". They work great. I've caught close to 2 dozen mice with out having to rebait at times.
