Although my 53 is 12v (It was that way from the previous owner) I have run a lot of 6v stuff, and the horn on the 53 is a 6v running on 12v. It is loud, but it gets hot fast. I only use it for short honks. The way I drive it I have never used the horn other than to say Hi to someone I know. I have come to realize that by the time I could lay on the horn, I could have already braked to a stop. And people don't listen anyways, too busy with their cell phone. LOL | | |
