So, I picked up some
Panel Trim from Classic Parts for my ABS door panels. I like the way the stuff looks and fits. I'm thinking I'd like to do the same for my rear side panels. Especially since that was one of the items missing when I bought my Suburban. So, aside from finding some 7' strips of stainless, making some dies to turn it in to some 0.375 x 0.125 i.d. x 0.035 stainless channel, would anybody have a source for pre-made channel? I did find
this stuff, but the .015 seems a little thin to be a stiffener for panels, whether ABS or cardboard.
Does anyone have an alternative to all of this besides hunting down some stock trim pieces?
