Folks,
I am currently starting back on my 46 Chev 2 ton after many years of having it apart. My question is on the steering gear box, is there a bracket that holds it in place from the top as well, or just the one that mounts to the inside of the frame that the shaft goes through, out to the pitman arm. When I turn the steering shaft, the whole steering box and steering shaft moves up and down, before it engages. Any help is appreciated.
