The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Engine Shop Remote Canister Oil Filter Lines

I'm curious about the correct oil flow direction.
My ’50 216 was “plumbed” this way, so my plan is to plumb my
newly overhauled ’53 (full pressure) 235 the same way unless I hear
different from you guys.
I have a (remotely located old school) Canister Oil Filter,

The line at the bottom of the Canister goes to the Tee’d plumbing at the Oil Pressure (gauge) connection.
The other line (mid-way up the side of the Canister) is plumbed to the Block (lower centered).

Sounds right??
