I found mine by putting B.B. on the flywheel pointer. At that point, tried to spin rods. Which ever cylinder (1 or 6) spun, I knew that one was TDC. We then put distributor into the truck. If 6 was a TDC, we put 6 where it was pointed and went around firing order. Or same thing if 1 was TDC. We were close enough to start her up.
