I recently did some welding in my dump bed. I had the cab covered but some dewberries got thru and landed on the cab. When I painted the truck I used Dupont Chromabase with PCL Superpro clear. It has been color sanded and buffed. The dewberries caused little divets, burns in the clear and down to the white paint that are about the size of a pinhead. (I know. I'm a pinhead for doing this). My question is, can I dab a little color on that divet, dab on some clear over that and try to smooth it out to blend flat with the original clear coat?
